In every level of Halo: Reach, there is at least one enemy known as the BOB. These usually appear as gold-armored Ranger-class Elites. The BOB on Reach’s final level, Lone Wolf, is unique in that he is very aggressive. All others will usually evade you, and disappear after a short time. In order to make the BOB appear on this level, 36 covenant troops have to bite the dust. Note that it will count towards this total if you kill an enemy or if they blow themselves up. Taking down Wraiths and Spirit turrets will not count towards this total, and both are replaced soon after you destroy them, so it might be better to ignore them and just avoid their bombs. The BOB is the second-to-last enemy I take out in this video, the Gold Elite with an Energy Sword. Notice how enemy aggressiveness increases over time in this level. The sooner you can get the BOB to appear, the better. Taking out the exploding items at the beginning helps prevent accidental deaths on account of their blast radius. Good luck!
